Discovering the Language of Clay
Clay has become more than just a material for me—it’s an intuitive, grounding medium that invites exploration and presence. I was drawn to it with the curiosity I feel whenever I encounter something new, but the journey with clay has been far deeper and more meditative than I anticipated.

Exploring various clay techniques, including wheel throwing, hand coiling, and more.
My process isn't rigid or rule-bound. I let the clay speak—often abandoning initial ideas and allowing the form to emerge through touch and response. Whether I’m hand-building with coils, slabs, or pinches, or centering on the wheel, the subtle movements of my hands shape something unique each time.
Every gesture becomes a quiet act of expression. Clay offers a kind of freedom—where textures, imperfections, and shifting forms are not mistakes, but discoveries. It's a space where I find both challenge and calm, and where making feels like listening.
It also impresses me how it affected my artistic sensibilities and decision-making. While hand building techniques, I became more confidant in shaping forms, the use of a wheel shifted the focus to learning techniques and achieving precision, leading to less exploration. I am also intrested in the bodily kinetics , to uncover the intrinsic relationship between the physical engagement and the resultant aesthetic and functional attributes of the pottery.
Exploring Layers: With Screen Printing
Overprinting & Repetition
This project was a hands-on exploration of design variables—particularly variation and repetition—centered around a single theme. Using the screen printing process, I experimented with layering four different colored screens, embracing the challenge of overprinting to create unique visual aesthetics.

Color & Inspiration
The vibrant works at the Andy Warhol Museum, which I visited recently, deeply influenced my approach to color—encouraging bold choices, unexpected overlays, and playful interactions between form and pigment in every print
