This wearable art piece was inspired by the intricate metalwork and armours of Rajasthan, seen during a visit to the City Palace of Jaipur. Crafted by hand-beating metal sheets into a human body form, the costume features engraved war and hunting scenes using embossing, engraving, and jali-cutting techniques. The project demanded careful experimentation with metal strength—ensuring it could be shaped without cracking, yet remain durable. This fusion of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary form-making made the piece both technically challenging and deeply expressive, paying tribute to a rich heritage through the lens of wearable sculpture.
